Hello Aalto Paints!

Villa Gusto is a chic, luxury Italian Villa and multi ‘chef hat’ establishment in north east Victoria. We have won most awards.
During construction in 2002 we purchased a vast amount of Aalto paints, for all interior wall surfaces. Colours included:
Pomegranate, Burnt Sugar, Kalahari, Dossier, Envelope, etc.

Nine years on and we undertook a major upgrade. During this process we needed to re-paint some walls and touch up others, a significant task. We went to the old paint tins, merely to locate the paint colour names to re-order. To our surprise the paint in each tin was still in ideal condition, flawless. We were able to complete all upgrade jobs with the old paint. Aalto paints left us gobsmacked at its longevity and quality.

Well done Aalto, you are the talk of the building industry in the Alpine region of Victoria.

How We See Colour.

Paint in tinLight is made up of numerous waves or impulses each having different dimensions or wavelengths; the eye and brain translate light into colour.

All surfaces absorb and reflect different wavelengths - It is the reflected wavelengths that determine what colour we see.

When separated, any single wavelength will produce a specific colour impression to the human eye. Each colour has its own properties that form its wavelength, from violet with shortest wavelength through the colour spectrum to the reds which have the longest.

The more pigmented your paint is, the more wavelengths are created and therefore the greater the perception of depth. Aalto Colours are all individually built to allow this full interplay of light and pigment.
